I am Anusha Parvathy, a certified Hatha Yoga teacher with a deep passion for holistic well-being. Although yoga has been a part of my life since childhood, the lockdown marked a profound turning point in my journey. It was during this time that I embraced yoga with renewed dedication, leading to a remarkable transformation—I lost 20 kg, learned to ride a bike, took up swimming, and experienced a complete shift in my mindset.
With over 20 kg of personal transformation and a shift in lifestyle through yoga, Anusha brings real-life experience into her teaching. Her journey proves that yoga is not just about asanas, but about cultivating balance, strength, and mindfulness in everyday life.
Since starting Agam Yoga in 2022 with just two students, Anusha now mentors over 500+ students through online and offline classes. Her focus is on making yoga accessible for all—especially adolescents and college students—helping them embrace wellness and inner harmony.
If you’ve ever thought, “I can’t do yoga because I can’t even touch my toes,” I have a secret for you: That is exactly why you need yoga.
Yoga isn’t a performance; it’s a practice. It isn’t about how deep you can bend, but how deep you can breathe while you’re feeling tight. In my classes, we leave the “handstand pressure” at the door.
What you can expect in our safe space:
Zero Judgment: Your “warrior pose” doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s. We celebrate Progress over Perfection.
Real Bodies, Real Stretches: We focus on releasing tension where you actually feel it—your lower back, your tight hamstrings, and your busy mind.
Invitational Language: I won’t tell you what a pose “should” look like. Instead, I’ll invite you to Explore your own limits and choose variations that feel right for your body today.
A “No Suffering” Zone: We prioritize listening to your Body over pushing for a “perfect” shape.
You don’t need to be flexible to start. You just need to be willing to show up for yourself. Let’s redefine what yoga looks like—together.

Wear something comfortable that lets you move freely! We recommend simple cotton clothing, as it allows your body to breathe while you practice. Try to avoid synthetic fabrics, which can feel restrictive. Also, please skip perfumes or strong fragrances, as they can be distracting during class. Just keep it simple, breathable, and comfy—your body will thank you!
It’s best to practice yoga on an empty stomach. If you’ve had a heavy meal, wait at least 3 hours before class. For lighter liquids like juice, a 1-hour gap is ideal.
Try to avoid drinking water during class, as it can cool down the internal heat you build while practicing. Stay hydrated before and after, and you’ll feel great throughout your session!
We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes early to settle in before class begins. Arriving early allows you to set up your mat and mentally prepare for class without feeling rushed.
Yoga is about mindfulness and presence. Walking in late can disrupt the class energy and disturb others who are already settled in. Punctuality is part of yoga’s philosophy—being present, disciplined, and respecting the time and space of others. Arriving a few minutes early makes a big difference in your practice. We appreciate your effort to be on time and fully present.
A class happens on the same day and time each week. You can drop in anytime or attend regularly—it’s a great way to stay consistent with your practice!A workshop is a special session with a specific focus, designed to help you deepen your practice and learn something new. Both are great ways to grow in your yoga journey—join us for whichever suits you best.

Bring your own yoga mat if possible—it’s more hygienic and helps you feel at home in your practice. While we do provide mats, using your own is always a good idea. Also, come with an open mind! And don’t worry about wiping off sweat immediately—it’s actually good for your body to let it dry naturally. See you on the mat!
It’s not a must, but it’s a good idea to shower BEFORE your yoga session—you’ll feel fresh and energized! After class, though, give your body some time to cool down naturally. Try to wait at least **30 minutes** before taking a bath. This helps your body absorb all the benefits of your practice!
